The Spring Trampoline Camp in May is a pre off-season training program for freestyle skiers and freeskiers as they refine their fundamentals and advance their trampoline skills in preparation for summer training. Trampoline training allows for the refinement of fundamentals, sharpens air awareness, and offers expanded skill progressions to properly learn tricks. Rail/box training keeps the ski legs sharp and agile while promoting finesse and balance on jump takeoffs. This training camp prepares the athlete for a successful and healthy summer of sports training.
This is a day camp. Lodging and meals are not included.
CAMP SPECIFICS
Spring Trampoline Camp is for ages 9 – 17, and targets those preparing their skills for a fun summer of learning. Spring camp will also offer novice training for beginning freestyle skiers.
ARRIVAL is at 8:45 AM on Saturday and Sunday

The Freestyle America Campus at the Mountain Fare Inn features the following facilities:
- Indoor trampoline with complete overhead spotting equipment and bungee system
- 4 in-ground trampolines with surrounding custom pads
- Mini-trampoline and crash pads
- Tilt tramp with a brand new 20 x 20 ft air bag landing
- Grind rail deck with a 20 foot flat-box and a 24 ft “flat-down-flat” rail surrounded by a specialized skiing surface

Go ½ mile and bear right onto Mad River Road. Take your next right onto Old Waterville Road. It is the second parking lot on your left. Look for the sign, Mountain Fare Inn Barn parking. CAMP DESCRIPTION
Summer snow training is essential for serious competitors who want to advance their skiing to the next level. The Freestyle America Whistler Camp maximizes the opportunity of summer glacier skiing through coaching focused on each athlete’s own personal goals and imparting a curriculum of technical skiing elements, proper jumping technique, and plenty of mileage training and practice time. Additionally, 2 afternoons of trampoline training at the Whistler Gymnastics will help athletes refine their jumping skills.
CAMP SPECIFICS
Recommended ages for participation are 10 and up for day athletes and 12 and up for boarding athletes. Athletes should be competent skiers, and should have some competitive experience.
Overnight Option includes: Local and airport van transportation from Vancouver airport, coaching, lift tickets, lodging, all breakfasts, lunches, and some evening meals each week. There will be dinners (every other night) scheduled during camp to be out in the village. Dinners out are at the athletes’ own expense.
Training Only Option includes: Coaching, lift tickets, and trampoline.
FLIGHT INFORMATION (Flights are booked and paid for by athletes’ families)
For overnight campers wanting to travel with the coaches:

These non-stop flights are from Montreal to Vancouver, departing Montreal on West Jet at 8:25am, arriving in Vancouver at 10:54am. The returning flight departs Vancouver at 11:27pm on 6/27 and arrives in Montreal at 7:16am on 6/28. We are flying out of Montreal, opposed to Boston, in order to get a good schedule for a good price and to avoid the Covid protocols of crossing the border by plane. Contact Wes about transportation to Montreal on June 17th to spend the night and go to the airport in the morning (extra fee applies). Athletes do have the option of meeting us in Montreal or Vancouver at a similar time to our schedule.
ENTERING CANADA
Athletes need this documentation to cross the boarder:

• Either proof of double vaccination or a negative PCR Covid Test.
• Letter of permission to travel that reads something (but maybe not exactly) like this:
“I Parent Name give my Child Name permission to travel with Wesley Preston and the Freestyle America Team to Montreal Trudeau Airport to fly to Whister, B.C. and back for a ski trip. The date of entry to Cnada is June 17th, 2022. The date of return to the United States in June 28th, 2022.”
TRAINING OPTIONS
This camp includes training for both Moguls and Slopestyle. Athletes will split each day between bumps and park.
MOGUL COACHING PROGRAM: Camp consists of 2 training rotations of 4 days, each separated by a rest day. The training program includes the technical fundamentals of mogul skiing. A second training focus is aerial skill work, including rotations, off-axis tricks, and qualified inverted jumps. A third training component is competitive tactics, speed, aerial entries and exits. A fourth task is mileage and top to bottom competition quality skiing. Mogul skiers all share the goal of achieving 100 mogul runs throughout the camp.
SLOPESTYLE COACHING PROGRAM: The Freeskiing coaching program occurs on Momentum’s extensive park features venue adjacent to our mogul lane. The Slopestyle curriculum includes air training on a variety of jump features, rail sessions, switch skiing, competition run development, and jump training on two snow-to-air bag jumps.
BOTH (Combined Moguls and Slopestyle): We will split each day with both Moguls and Slopestyle!

Our summer Trampoline Camp schedule is designed to parallel age and ability. Athletes of all ages are coached according to their individualized abilities and skill levels. With each week the progression of training activities challenge each age group appropriately.
CAMP SPECIFICS
Youth Tramp Camp is for 7-10 year olds. Ability levels range from those with no acrobatic experience to those with some background in trampoline and freestyle skills.
This camp runs Wednesday – Saturday.
Arrival is 8:45 AM daily.
Departure is 3:00 PM daily.
Acrobatics is most easily learned (and taught) at younger ages. Sports such as gymnastics are clear testimony to this principle. Youth Trampoline Camp is an ideal gateway to acrobatics and fundamental freestyle skills. These camps feature our top coaches, offering our youngest the best.

SPORTS and ACTIVITIES
Youth tramp camp focuses on skill periods, however the last hour of each day includes other sports and activities. These may include soccer, capture the flag, swimming, fitness activities or other extra-curriculars.

Trampoline & Ramp Camp is designed for athletes ages 10-16 years old. Athletes of all abilities are coached according to their individualized skill levels. The focus of camp is the fundamentals of ski acrobatics, skill progressions for trick advancement, and lots of training and fun packed into one week. This is Freestyle and Freeski! …minus the snow.
The camp will feature the airbag ramp at Holderness School. Located just 10 minutes from our main campus, this outstanding training venue is an essential element for advanced athletes to train ski and snowboard acrobatics. Younger athletes will also have the opportunity to try out and train on at the airbag ramp. Either overnight or day camp options are available.
CAMP SPECIFICS
Trampoline and Ramp Camp is for ages 10-16 years old. Abilities range from novices to experienced young athletes competing on a regional level. This camp is available with or without meals and lodging.
ARRIVAL for overnight campers is 6:00 PM – 6:30 PM on Sunday (Eat before arrival. No Dinner served on Sunday)

DEPARTURE is at 5:00 PM on Friday.

The Freestyle America Campus at the Mountain Fare Inn features the following facilities:
- Indoor trampoline with complete overhead spotting equipment and bungee system
- 4 in-ground trampolines with surrounding pads
- Mini-trampoline and crash pads
- Tilted trampoline with a 20 x 20 foot airbag landing (The Airdog!)
- Grind rail deck with a 20 foot box and a 24 foot “flat-down-flat” rail surrounded by a specialized skiing surface
- Soccer field
- Airbag ramp at the Holderness School with two jumps into a 50 x 50 airbag

Water Ramp training provides freestyle athletes an unparalleled opportunity to improve their airs, broaden their repertoire of tricks and qualify inverted and off-axis maneuvers. The Freestyle America Ramp Camps maximize the opportunity of summer jump training by imparting a curriculum of technical training and skillful progression.
This camp is located in the beautiful Olympic town of Lake Placid, NY. This town is all about the outdoors, winter sports, and the Olympic spirit.
• Recommended ages for participation are 12 and up. Athletes need to be competent skiers.
• This camp is offered as a day camp. Lodging and meals are not included.

ARRIVAL is 8:30AM daily at the Freestyle Pool at Olympic Jumping Complex in Lake Placid, NY.

DAY ATHLETES
Please BRING YOUR OWN LUNCH with plenty of nutritious snacks and fluids.
Each training day plan to meet us at the Olympic Jumping Complex at 8:30am.
WHAT YOU NEED
- SKIS: 2 pairs if possible
- Option 1: Bring one or two pairs of skis that you will not be using again on-snow.
- BOOTS and BINDINGS:
- Bring boots that fit well. Your winter ski boots are fine, as the water will not ruin them. Be sure to try them on before camp! Be sure to dry them out by removing liners and footbeds after camp!
- Please be sure your bindings fit your boots BEFORE attending camp.
- Bindings should have a minimum of 9 DIN (numbers on toe piece and heel piece).
- HELMET: ski/skate/kayak – REQUIRED!
- LIFE JACKET: Water sports type – REQUIRED!

Water Ramp training provides freestyle athletes an unparalleled opportunity to improve their airs, broaden their repertoire of tricks and qualify inverted and off-axis maneuvers. The Freestyle America Ramp Camps maximize the opportunity of summer jump training by imparting a curriculum of technical training and skillful progression.
This camp is located in the beautiful Olympic town of Lake Placid, NY. This town is all about the outdoors, winter sports, and the Olympic spirit.
• Recommended ages for participation are 12 and up. Athletes need to be competent skiers.
• This camp is offered as a day camp. Lodging and meals are not included.
CAMP SPECIFICS
ARRIVAL is 8:30AM daily at the Freestyle Pool at Olympic Jumping Complex in Lake Placid, NY.
DEPARTURE is at 3:30PM daily on at the Freestyle Pool at Olympic Jumping Complex in Lake Placid, NY.

DAY ATHLETES
Please BRING YOUR OWN LUNCH with plenty of nutritious snacks and fluids.
Each training day plan to meet us at the Olympic Jumping Complex at 8:30am.
WHAT YOU NEED
- SKIS: 2 pairs if possible
- Option 1: Bring one or two pairs of skis that you will not be using again on-snow.
- BOOTS and BINDINGS:
- Bring boots that fit well. Your winter ski boots are fine, as the water will not ruin them. Be sure to try them on before camp! Be sure to dry them out by removing liners and footbeds after camp!
- Please be sure your bindings fit your boots BEFORE attending camp.
- Bindings should have a minimum of 9 DIN (numbers on toe piece and heel piece).
- HELMET: ski/skate/kayak – REQUIRED!
- LIFE JACKET: Water sports type – REQUIRED!
- WET SUIT: A shorty or long sleeve wetsuit is recommended.
- Long sleeve athletic clothes (no zippers or buttons)

CAMP DESCRIPTION
Trampoline & Ramp Camp is designed for athletes ages 10-16 years old. Athletes of all abilities are coached according to their individualized skill levels. The focus of camp is the fundamentals of ski acrobatics, skill progressions for trick advancement, and lots of training and fun packed into one week. This is Freestyle and Freeski!… minus the snow.
The camp will feature the airbag ramp at Holderness School. Located just 10 minutes from our main campus, this outstanding training venue is an essential element for advanced athletes to train ski and snowboard acrobatics. Younger athletes will also have the opportunity to try out and train on at the airbag ramp.
This is a day camp. Lodging and meals are not included.
CAMP SPECIFICS
Trampoline and Ramp Camp is for ages 10-16 years old. Abilities range from novices to experienced young athletes competing on a regional level.
ARRIVAL is at 8:45AM on Monday – Friday
DEPARTURE is at 4PM on Monday – Friday
FACILITIES
The Freestyle America Campus at the Mountain Fare Inn features the following facilities:
- Indoor trampoline with complete overhead spotting equipment and bungee system
- 4 in-ground trampolines with surrounding pads
- Mini-trampoline and crash pads
- Tilted trampoline with a 20 x 20 foot airbag landing (The Airdog!)
- Grind rail deck with a 20 foot box and a 24 foot “flat-down-flat” rail surrounded by a specialized skiing surface
- Soccer field
- Airbag ramp at the Holderness School with two jumps into a 50 x 50 airbag

- 3:45pm: Brain Training (Meditation, Visualization)

We are located 2 hours north of Boston; 1.25 hours north of Manchester, NH; 2.5 hours from Portland, ME and Burlington, VT; and 3.5 hours from Montreal.
Driving Directions: From Interstate 93, take exit #28, Campton / Waterville Valley. Off the exit, take Route 49 East. Go one mile to the traffic light. Turn left onto 175 North. Go ½ mile and bear right onto Mad River Road. Take your next right onto Old Waterville Road. It is the second parking lot on your left. Look for the sign, Mountain Fare Inn Barn parking. You can also use the dirt parking lot directly across the street.

- Skis need to be twin tips or have rounded tails. Square-tailed skis are not allowed on the airbag. Please be sure your skis are tuned and waxed.
- Note: Ski and boot rentals are available from local ski shops such as Ski Fanatics 603-726-4327.
