Olympic Jump Complex, Lake Placid NY—Water Ramp training provides freestyle athletes an unparalleled opportunity to improve their airs, broaden their repertoire of tricks and qualify inverted and off-axis maneuvers. The Freestyle America ramp camps maximize the opportunity of summer air training through coaching focused on each athlete’s own personal goals and imparting a curriculum of technical training and skillful progression.

The Olympic Jumping Complex is designed to be a jumping practice and jump qualification facility, and therefore best serves athletes targeting specific jumps for use in competition. Since jumping practice is accomplished through repetitive attempts at specific airs, the value of the ramp camp experience demands a sufficient competency in the fundamentals of acrobatics and skis-on jumping. Trampoline sessions at ramp camp primarily serve as warm up sessions for jumping, and are less about learning nbraod based acrobatics, which is best accomplished at the FSA Trampoline and Bag Jump Camps.

Lysek’s Hillcrest Inn, where camp is lodged and served meals, is located just above Main Street in Lake Placid, where campers can enjoy the wonderful shops and businesses during their evening hours. Coaches and athletes take advantage of the many activities close by, such as miniature golf, bowling, movies, and more.
