Rest Days

The two days off from training are for our athletes and coaches to rest, relax and enjoy the opportunities of Whistler Village. Generally, athletes use this day to catch up on sleep, do some laundry, walk around the village, enjoy a relaxing lunch and socialize with each other. Athletes are encouraged to take advantage of the many activities that Whistler has to offer, including mountain biking, swimming and hiking. Afternoons typically feature a soccer game or similar sports activity, and a trip to Rainbow park to enjoy the lake and volleyball courts.

We want the athletes to use this day to rest and recharge, so they are prepared to take on the challenges and opportunities of the next training period.
