Showcase Glacier on Whistler/Blackcomb Mountain, British Columbia—Summer Snow training is essential for serious competitors who want to advance their skiing to the next level. The Freestyle America Mogul maximizes the opportunity of summer glacier skiing through coaching focused on each athletes own personal goals and imparting a curriculum of technical training and skillful progression. Since practice and mileage are always a critical part of successful training experiences, athletes seek to ski 200 mogul runs as part of the curriculum.

Athletes, coaches and staff reside together in a spacious, well appointed lodge, with excellent meal facilities, and close to Whistler Village. The “team” environment provides a focused living environment for effective goal setting, video review, communication, and relaxation.

Summer Snow Freeskiing Camp

Mount Hood Summer Ski Camps’ Venue on Mount Hood Glacier, Oregon—Located on the spectacular glacier and snowfields of Mt. Hood, the MHSSC ski and snowboard park provides an optimum opportunity for Slopestyle, and half pipe skiers to advance their competitive skiing and acrobatic skills. Skill activities include rails, jumps, air bags, and a variety of other park features. Half-pipe skiers will have access to the Timberline Resort pipe adjacent to the MHSSC venue.

Freestyle America’s freeskiing coaches, Dan Shuffleton and Greg Ruppel lend expert coaching, and manage each athlete’s progression and learning.

While days are spent on MHSSC’s world class park, lodging and meals and activities are supervised by Dan and Greg. Staff and athletes reside together ‘team style’ in a spacious lodge in Government Camp. Goal setting, video review, conditioning, and other off-snow training activities round out this productive and valuable training experience.

Freestyle America Trampoline Training Center, Campton NH—Since 1983, Freestyle America Trampoline Camps have served as the cornerstone activity for acrobatic skill development in freestyle skiing. State of the art trampoline facilities and ski training equipment provide optimum learning environments, while minimizing risk. Expert coaching and safety conscious teaching methods provide athletes of all abilities correct techniques for flips, twists and off-axis maneuvers. Conditioning activities also play an integral part of creating strong and healthy athletes.
